The RSC is committed to supporting staff development opportunities. We can assist with devising staff development programmes within your organisation and work closely with national partners that deliver e-learning training such as the National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (E-Guides), Centre for Excellence in Leadership (Connect) and the Higher Education Academy (Development and Recognition).
The RSC also supports staff development officers to plan staff development days within their organisation. We can where possible, deliver an initial session which is then cascaded down to other members of staff in the organisation. This could span a variety of e-learning based topics including, for example, podcasting, using interactive whiteboards, and assistive technologies.
Staff development is available for technicians, teachers, tutors, library resource staff and managers.
