Through close collaboration with the JISC TechDis service, the RSC supports its regional learning providers to promote a culture of inclusion.
Our support ranges from advice on creating accessible e-learning materials, to reviewing and presenting the latest assistive technologies for teaching and learning. We also advise on the latest legislation and the implications for your organisation.
The RSC hosts events throughout the year relating to accessibility and inclusion. We can also run staff development sessions on your premises, ranging from the use of interactive whiteboards to making Word documents more accessible.
The West Midlands Specialist Colleges Forum, facilitated by the RSC, meets regularly throughout the year, and brings together practitioners from across the region to share ideas and best practice.
